Define 3D PCB body with sketch profile
Control which sketch profile is used to define the body of the 3D PCB and define the coordinate system use on the 2D PCB Canvas in Fusion.
In the 3D PCB workspace, select Create > Define Board.
The Define Board dialog displays.
Select profile. This is typically a profile from the Outline Sketch, but can also reference a sketch profile from an assembly context.
Select origin by clicking a point from the sketch profile.
Select X axis by clicking a sketch line or edge from the sketch profile.
Click Flip X Axis to reverse the direction of the X axis.
Click Flip Z Axis to reverse the direction of the Z axis.
Notes:
- To create a board body in a newly created Linked PCB, you must select a closed profile using the Define Board tool .
- The Y axis is not selected directly, but rather inferred from the X and Z axes.
