Linking with Library.io

Linking with Library.io connects your Fusion hub library and the Library.io website, allowing you sync changes between both platforms. When you import or fork a Library.io library into your hub, the link is created automatically. You can also publish a hub library to Library.io or manually link to an existing library.

  • Sync updates: Pull in updates from public libraries after you fork from them.
  • Collaborate across hubs: Use Library.io to synchronize libraries across multiple hubs.
  • Publish libraries: (For authorized publishers) Publish changes to publicly available Library.io libraries.

Accessing Library.io libraries

You can see the list of Library.io libraries that you have access to in the Private Libraries tab of the Library Manager. However, using these libraries directly in your designs is not recommended. Library.io has its own permission system, and team members in your current hub may not have access to these private libraries.

Managing permissions

You can manage permissions for your Library.io libraries on the Library.io website. Anyone with access to the managed folder can push changes to your libraries in Library.io, so grant permission only to trusted authors.
