QuickTune

QuickTune automatically adjusts the length of multiple traces, differential pairs, or buses by adding meanders.

The QuickTune dialog automatically fills in the default values:

• Target Length: Enter desired length of one or more selected traces.
• Tolerance: Set custom length range or keep Auto (5 mil) for minimum and maximum length.
• Min Amp: Set minimum distance of meander wave or keep Auto (0 mil).
• Max Amp: Set maximum distance of meander wave or keep Auto (0 mil).
• Gap: Set the space between meanders. The default Gap is calculated with a factor of 2.5 mil. You can reduce it, but it cannot be smaller than the copper clearance. Adjust the gap factor in the Design Rules editor.

Note: For differential pairs or multiple traces, Target Length matches the longer trace. For single traces, it matches the current length.
