Freeze faces or edges on a T-Spline body

Use the Freeze tool to freeze faces and edges on a T-Spline body to prevent changes to specific areas in Fusion.

1. In the Design workspace, Form contextual environment, select Modify > Freeze .
2. Select edges or faces to freeze. Press Ctrl to select multiple objects.
3. When finished, click OK.

A T-Spline body with frozen faces or edges displays in the canvas.

Tips

• Use Freeze with the Match tool. The Match tool moves selected T-Spline edges to meet other selected edges or curves and the Freeze tool locks the T-Spline edges in place.
• Light blue edges indicate areas that are frozen.
• Dark blue edges indicate areas that cannot be modified to prevent changes to the selected faces or edges.
