Associate Named Views reference (Manufacture workspace)

Associating named views with a setup or an operation adds the named views to the setup sheet. The setup sheet provides a visual aid to the person who is setting up the part on a machine tool.

To associate a named view with a setup or an operation:

1. Create a named view in the Manufacture workspace.

   The named view appears in the Browser, inside the Named Views folder.

   

   Note: Named views are saved only in the workspaces they are created, except for the Design and Render workspaces, which share the named views.

2. In the Browser, right-click a setup or an operation then click Associate Name View then choose the named view you created.

   

Remove a named view association

In the Browser, right-click the setup or operation then click Associate Name View > Remove Association.
