Tutorial conclusion: Thermal analysis

In this tutorial, you

  • Created a Thermal study to determine the temperature of the radiator fins,

  • Eliminated geometry that is irrelevant to the analysis, to reduce the analysis time

  • Applied thermal loads to simulate the effect of 75 C water flowing through the pipes, and loss of heat to the environment

  • Created a new simulation model with extended fins, to find a design that meets the temperature requirements

  • Set up the analysis on the new simulation model in an identical manner to the first analysis, to ensure a direct comparison

  • Compared and interpreted the results of the two thermal studies.
