Generate an outcome preview

Learn how to generate the outcome preview to see a trend showing how the study setup affects outcomes.

1. To generate an outcome preview, on the Define tab, click Generate > Previewer .

   The Preview bar opens.

2. Once the Previewer is started, you can track the progress in the Preview bar.

   Note: It may take a while to generate the preview. If you change some of the study settings in the meantime, the preview will be out of date and you will need to generate the preview again.

3. When the preview is ready, the Preview bar shows a green checkmark and you can view the outcome preview on the canvas.

   Tip: To better visualize the outcome preview, you can hide the preserve or obstacle geometries. To do so, click the Visible icon in the browser.

4. When finished, on the Define tab, click Generate > Stop Previewer

   The Preview bar closes and the outcome preview disappear from the canvas.
