Create a new generative model
Create a new generative model to use different set of geometry in your project.
To create a new generative model
In the Generative Design workspace, on the Define tab, click Edit Model > Edit Model
.
The Edit Model contextual environment opens.
On the Edit Model Solid or Edit Model Surface tab, click Create > New Generative Model
.
Note: Alternatively, you can create the new generative model from the Browser. Right-click a generative model, and select New Generative Model from the context menu.The new generative model appears in the Browser.
To clone a generative model
You can create a new generative model based on an existing one.
In the Generative Design workspace, on the Define tab, click Edit Model > Edit Model
.
The Edit Model contextual environment opens.
In the Browser, select a generative model.
Right-click the generative model and select Clone Generative Model from the context menu.
Select which of the studies in your generative model you'd like to clone, then click OK.
Note: You can Select All, or choose specific ones.The new generative model appears in the Browser.
