Represents a single piecewise linear curve. This is a single curve that consists of a series of connected lines in 3D space.Methods
Name | Description |
classType | Static function that all classes support that returns the type of the class as a string. The returned string matches the string returned by the objectType property. For example if you have a reference to an object and you want to check if it's a SketchLine you can use myObject.objectType == fusion.SketchLine.classType(). |
create | Creates a transient 3D polyline using an array of Point3D objects that defines the position of the polyline vertices. |
createByArray | Creates a transient 3D polyline using an array of floating point values that specify the X, Y, Z coordinates for each point. |
transformBy | Transforms this curve in 3D space. |

curveType | Returns the type of geometry this curve represents. |
evaluator | Returns an evaluator object that lets you perform additional evaluations on the curve. |
isValid | Indicates if this object is still valid, i.e. hasn't been deleted or some other action done to invalidate the reference. |
objectType | This property is supported by all objects in the API and returns a string that contains the full name (namespace::objecttype) describing the type of the object. It's often useful to use this in combination with the classType method to see if an object is a certain type. For example: if obj.objectType == adsk.core.Point3D.classType(): |
pointCount | Returns the number of points defining the polyline. |
points | Gets and sets the points that define the coordinates of the polyline. |
