Data Panel

Use the Data Panel to access, organize, and share your Fusion projects and design data. The Data Panel is hidden by default.

Access the Data Panel

The way you access the Data Panel depends on whether you're working in the Fusion canvas or the Home tab.

To show or hide the Data Panel while working in the Fusion canvas, do one of the following:

• Click the Data Panel icon .
• Press Ctrl+Alt+P (Windows) or Option+Command+P (MacOS).

To get to the Data Panel from the Home tab:

1. Click any open tab to go to the Fusion canvas.

   

2. Do one of the following:

   • Click the Data Panel icon .
   • Press Ctrl+Alt+P (Windows) or Option+Command+P (MacOS).

Open a project

Double-click the name of the project or a sample to access data that are contained within particular project or sample folder.

Note: The hub name is displayed at the top of the data panel. Check for this icon next to the hub name to confirm if you're working in a collaborative editing hub.

1. Project selector

Display the name of the active project. Click the back arrow to display the project list.

2. Project tools

Display project data on the web or searches the active project.

3. Data Panel show/hide

Click to show or hide the Data Panel.

4. Data or People

Control the display of data or people in the Data Panel.

5. View tools

Create a new folder or change the display of items in the Data Panel.

Upload: Upload design data from a supported CAD system.

New Folder: Create a folder in the active project.

Options: Choose how to sort and list data.

6. Context menu

Right-click to access commands for that specific design.
