Tutorial: Enabling motion using joints and contact sets
This tutorial leads you through the process of assembling the components of a Geneva drive. When assembled, you can move the components to visualize the motion of the gear mechanism.
In this tutorial, you:
- Apply a rigid group to all the components in the rotor subassembly.
- Add a revolute joint to position the rotor subassembly within the frame subassembly.
- Enable contact sets, then create a contact set between the wheel of the cross subsassembly and the pin of the rotor subassembly.
