DataFile.id Property

Defined in namespace "adsk::core" and the header file is <Core/Dashboard/DataFile.h>

Description

Returns the unique ID for this DataFile. This is the same id used in the APS Data Management API for an Item and is in the unencoded form and will look similar to this: "urn:adsk.wipprod:dm.lineage:hC6k4hndRWaeIVhIjvHu8w"

Syntax

"dataFile_var" is a variable referencing a DataFile object.

# Get the value of the property.
propertyValue = dataFile_var.id

Property Value

This is a read only property whose value is a string.
