View machine timeline

Access the Machine timeline dashboard to see a chronological view of machine activities and status changes over time.

Prerequisites

• Access to Fusion Machine Connect in the Fusion web client
• Connected machines with active licenses

Steps

1. In the Fusion web client, switch to the Fusion Machine Connect view.

2. Click the Reports page in the main navigation.

3. In the View dropdown, select Machine timeline.

   The Machine timeline dashboard displays with a timeline visualization showing machine activity over the selected time period.

4. Optionally, filter machines using the machine selection:

   • Click All machines to view all connected machines
   • Select specific machines from the dropdown to focus on individual or multiple machines

5. Review the timeline visualization:

   • Each machine appears as a horizontal row
   • Color-coded segments show different statuses: green (Running), orange (Idle), red (Stopped), grey (Not connected)
   • Hover over segments to see detailed information including start time, end time, and duration

6. Navigate the timeline:

   • Scroll horizontally to view different time segments
   • Use zoom controls to adjust the time scale for more or less detail
   • Click and drag to pan through the timeline

Expected Outcome

You can see a chronological view of machine activities with visual representation of status changes over time, helping you understand usage patterns, identify downtime periods, and analyze workflow efficiency.
