Align a mesh body to a plane
Use Mesh Align tool to align a mesh body to a plane in Fusion.
Note: This tool is only available in Direct Edit in Parametric Modeling Mode or Direct Modeling Mode.
In the Design workspace, click the Mesh tab.
Select Modify > Mesh Align
.The Mesh Align dialog displays.
In the canvas, select a face on the mesh body.
Select a plane to align the face to.
Check Preview to preview the aligned body in the canvas.
Optionally, click Flip to flip the body 180 degrees.
Click OK.
The mesh body moves so the selected face is aligned with the selected plane in the canvas.
Tips
- Use Select > Mesh Selection Palette to select a face on the mesh body.
