Print Setting Library reference
The Print Setting Library stores the collections of settings that the toolpath generators of Fusion require to produce the right data for the additive manufacturing method chosen in a setup.
Manufacture > Additive > Manage > Print Setting Library
Managing print settings
On the left side, you find the library browser with default locations that can store print settings.
Recent: Lists print settings you have been using in the recent past. These can originate in other locations, and choosing them for use provides you with a copy for the current project.
Document: Lists print settings used in the active document.
My Print Settings > Cloud: Lists print settings stored in the cloud, for use on any device.
My Print Settings > Local: Lists print settings stored locally on your device.
My Print Settings > Linked: Lists print settings stored in another folder on your device. To link a folder, right-click Linked and choose Link Folder.
Fusion library: Lists standard print settings that are included with Fusion. Choosing one of these print settings generates a copy in the Document folder.
Accessing print settings
In the center section, the available print settings themselves are listed. Here you create new, edit, copy and paste, import and export, and delete them, as available.
Creating print settings
You can only do this for your Local or Cloud storage. During creation, you are asked to select an existing one. The settings you select here are used as a template, and you continue working with the clone. Effectively, it is a shortcut to copying and pasting a collection of print settings in place.
Editing print settings
You may only do this for print settings stored in Local, Cloud, and Document.
Copy and paste
Copy is available wherever you have read-type access, while Paste may only be done where you have write-type access. You may copy and paste across locations, though.
Import and export
Using import and export you can share, or have shared, print settings in the form of files. Read and write restrictions apply.
Deleting
You can only delete from Local and Cloud. Once a collection of print settings has been used in a document, its copy remains with the document forever.
From Recent, you may also remove print settings so that they are no longer listed here.
Finding print settings
On the right side of the library dialog, you may use filters to narrow down the list.
Also, selecting a list item makes the Info tab available which presents a brief list of information about the selected print settings.
