A drawing item is a Fusion drawing that has been assigned an item number using the Fusion Manage Extension. The drawing item represents the drawing in process management workflows and lifecycle management. The drawing item is not the drawing itself, but a means of tracking the drawing. The drawing item number is a unique number generated by Fusion Manage when an item number is assigned.
When you create a change order for a drawing, the drawing item is associated with the change order. A drawing item can be associated with only one change order at a time.
A drawing item includes:
- Properties: drawing properties imported from the Fusion drawing
- View: a referenced version of the associated drawing file
