Learn how to use the Export DWG command in the Drawing workspace in Fusion to export the sheets in a drawing as a DWG file.

On the Design toolbar, select Place > Insert DXF/ DWG . In the Open file dialog, browse to and select the DXF or DWG file to insert.

You can use a DWG file created in AutoCAD to create a custom title block in Fusion.

AutoCAD DWG : Exports the contents of all sheets to a DWG file.

View other design files Inside a DWG File Customize viewer settings From the Viewer toolbar, you can change Settings that apply to all design files viewed in that particular browser.

DWG File (From DWG File only) Click the Open icon and select a DWG file.

Note: You can also use the Export PDF, Export DWG , or Export Sheet as DXF commands to export an entire sheet to PDF, DWG , or DXF file.

From Scratch Name: Type a unique name. From DWG File DWG File: Click the Open icon and select a DWG file.

Command Description Export PDF Creates a PDF containing the template contents. Export DWG Creates a DWG containing the template contents.

The Large Model View (LMV) generated for cloud viewing will not display the material texture. DWG files become read-only after saving (Plugin interference) Issue: After making edits and saving a DWG file in AutoCAD or Civil 3D, the file becomes read-only.

You can also use the commands in the Export panel on the toolbar to export sheets to PDF, DWG , or DXF. You can export tables to CSV.
