The Fusion Simulation Extension includes the following capabilities: Simulation - Perform a wide range of simulation studies to understand how your design behaves under specific conditions.

As you set up your simulations , consider specific, fundamental questions, such as the following: What is the design objective for this simulation ?

The active simulation study is shown in bold in the browser.

The four supported types of SPICE simulation are as follows. Operating Point No options apply, just click the Simulate button.

A key aspect of a simulation analysis is the proper interpretation and evaluation of these results.

All simulation studies are solved on the cloud, and rely on cloud computational services to do so.

Before starting the solve, run a pre-check to ensure the study is set up properly and is ready for solving. Click ( Simulation workspace > Setup tab > Solve panel > Solve) to open the Solve dialog.

Always review inputs to ensure that intended simulation is being solved. The Solve toolbar command graphically indicates the status of the simulation setup. indicates that there are issues with the study inputs, and the study cannot be solved. indicates potential issues.

If the current move is part-way through, the simulation goes to the start of the current move in the toolpath. to play the simulation .

Export a Simulation Model for use as a new base model.

The Copy Study command enables you to copy a study from a Simulation Model in one configuration to a Simulation Model in a different configuration.

In Dynamic Event Simulation simulations , the incremental result steps are in real-time, taking into account velocity, acceleration, and inertial effects.

In the Unit and Value Display > Simulation and Generative Design, change the Scientific notation precision setting from 1.123E+04 to 1.12345E+04.

For each simulation study you define the set up conditions you want to use for the analysis, using the various tools on the Setup tab of the toolbar.
