The Sketch Palette dialog displays in the canvas when you create or edit a sketch in Fusion.

Click Finish Sketch from the Sketch Palette to exit sketch .

Change sketch geometry to centerline geometry In the Sketch Palette dialog, next to Linetype, click the Centerline option.

Note: Remember to show your constraints by selecting the Show Constraints checkbox from the Sketch Palette . Click Finish Sketch on the Sketch Palette to complete your sketch for this tutorial.

In the Sketch Palette dialog, select a Blend Curve type to apply constraints to the connection points: Tangent Blend Curve (G1): Creates a tangent continuous blend curve.

Change sketch geometry to construction geometry In the Sketch Palette dialog, next to Linetype, click the Construction option.

In the Sketch Palette , click Finish Sketch .

Click the line you have just created to select it. On the Sketch Palette , underneath Options, click Construction .

Optional: In the Sketch Palette , select a Spline Degree type.

The rectangle should envelope the bottle. In the Sketch Palette dialog, click Finish Sketch .

Click (Design workspace > Solid tab > Create panel > Create Sketch ). Select the top surface of the gripper arm as the sketch plane, to open the Sketch Palette dialog.Notice that the Sketch tab appears on the ribbon and the Sketch commands are now available.

Select the initial plane or face to begin the sketch on. Valid selections are: Origin planes Work planes Planar faces on geometry Optional: In the Sketch Palette , check the 3D Sketch box.

Sketch Palette dialog When you create a new sketch or edit an existing sketch , the Sketch Palette dialog displays in the canvas.

The rectangles, and any construction geometry, constraints, and dimensions that are added to them, display in the canvas. Tips In the Sketch Palette dialog, in the Feature Options section, you can switch between Rectangle types while any rectangle tool is active.

Press Enter on your keyboard, to complete the tool. In the Sketch Palette dialog, click Finish Sketch .
