In Fusion, the Toolbox is a customizable shortcuts menu where you can search for, use,
00:09
and pin commands that you use frequently in your design workflow.
00:14
You may find that accessing some commands via the Toolbox is faster than finding them on the toolbar or in the Marking menu.
00:21
Press the S key to open the Toolbox.
00:24
In the Design workspace, the Extrude and Fillet commands are pinned by default to the Design Shortcuts Toolbox.
00:31
From the Toolbox, you can access all the commands that are available in the current workspace or environment.
00:37
For example, when you switch to the Render workspace,
00:41
the Scene Settings command is pinned to the Render Shortcuts Toolbox,
00:44
and when you switch to the Manufacture workspace, the Face, 2D Adaptive Clearing,
00:49
and 2D Contour commands are pinned to the Manufacturer Shortcuts Toolbox.
00:55
In each workspace where sketching is available, you can also access the Sketch Shortcuts Toolbox while you are in an active sketch.
01:04
In any Toolbox, use the Search box to find any available command that you want to use.
01:10
As you type, the list of commands is filtered, so that you only see commands that contain the letters you typed.
01:16
When multiple search results are displayed,
01:19
you can press your up and down arrow keys to cycle through the commands.
01:23
Press Enter to start using the highlighted command,
01:26
or click any command in the list.
01:29
You may want to add more commands to the Toolbox in order to speed up your workflow.
01:34
There are two ways to do this.
01:36
First, expand any drop-down on the toolbar, place the pointer over the command, click the More button,
01:43
then select the checkbox next to Pin to Shortcuts.
01:46
Alternatively, press S to open the Toolbox, search for the command, then click the Pin to Shortcuts icon.
01:53
Whichever way you choose to add it, the command is now added to the toolbox, where you can access it quickly.
02:00
Click and drag the commands in the toolbox to arrange them in an order that suits your workflow.
02:06
Click and drag the lower right corner of the Toolbox itself to resize it as your list of shortcut commands grows.
02:13
If you want to remove a command from the Toolbox, there are two ways to do this as well.
02:19
In the Toolbox, search for the command, then click the Remove from Shortcuts icon.
02:24
Or, expand the corresponding drop-down on the toolbar, place the pointer over the command,
02:30
click the More button, then deselect Pin to Shortcuts.
