Tokens for Fusion Generative Design studies
Use tokens to generate studies on a per-task basis.
Charge
The charge for Outcome generation and use of outcome-based designs is 11 tokens for a generative study.
Pressing Generate charges tokens to your account. The system consumes tokens when you generate at least one iteration of any outcome.
As a result of an outcome generation you receive a set of outcomes. Their number depends on the study setup. You can create designs from outcomes that best meet your requirements and work with them in Fusion.
Check your balance
You can check your balance in the following ways:
In the Preferences dialog. In the left pane, click Tokens & Cloud Credits.
In the Generate dialog, select the Token costs & balances option from the Show list.
In your Autodesk Account.
Example 1
This is an example of the cost information that displays if you want to generate outcomes for one study.
Where:
Required shows the token cost of generating outcomes for the study.
Available shows the account balance and how many tokens.
Will remain shows the remainder after the completion of outcome generation.
Example 2
When the required tokens exceed the available amount, the red box appears.
In this situation, select another account which has enough tokens to run the task or reduce the number of studies to generate.
Cancel a generative task
You can cancel an outcome generation task in the Job Status dialog by clicking Cancel.
Canceling the task before generating at least one iteration of any outcome causes the system to credit your account with the tokens consumed for that task. If the Explore contextual environment displays at least one outcome generation, the system will not cancel the generation process, and it will consume tokens.
Get a refund if a generative task fails
An outcome generation fails if the study status is Failed and outcomes are not generated. If it happens, the system will refund the tokens to your account.
The system consumes and retains tokens only if it generates an outcome successfully.
