Subspindle Grab and Subspindle Return reference
Secondary Spindle
Parameters to position the subspindle over the part in the main spindle.
Feedrate
Once the Subspindle has moved to the Feed Plane (Clearance), this is the feedrate to move to the Chuck Plane (final depth to grab the part).
Stop Spindle During Chuck
Forces a spindle stop during the chucking process.
Stop Spindle During Return
Stops both spindles during subspindle transfer.
Spindle Speed
If the spindle is not stopped, you can set the RPM to synchronize the two spindles.
Spindle Orientation
Allows you to create an angular shift between the 0° reference position of the part. You can enter an angle to shift the second spindle reference.
Use Part Catcher
Enable to activate the part catcher. Only available if your machine has a parts catcher and your post supports a part catcher.
Dwelling Period
Enter a time for the operation to dwell. Dwelling pauses axis movements while the spindle revolves at the specified rpm. Use dwelling to clear chips before retracting from a hole and to improve the hole finish. Typically, set a dwelling time between 1/4 second and 1 second.
Open Spindle Chucks
Specifies the conditions of the chucks during the retract process.
- Keep Both Clamped.
- Unclamp Primary Spindle.
- Unclamp Secondary Spindle.
Feed Plane
The position that the chuck rapids to, before feeding to the clamping position.
Feed Plane Mode
Set this height to control the reference position for the Offset.
Offset
Sets the distance to shift the Feed Plane.
Chuck Plane
The position that the chuck feeds to, before clamping the part.
Chuck Plane Mode
Set this height to control the reference position for the Offset.
Offset
Sets the distance to shift the Chuck Plane.
Confinement
Contains a turning toolpath within a region using confinement boundaries.
