Activity 1: View existing members and groups

In this activity, you'll explore the Members and Groups section of administration and filter the members list by status.

Prerequisites

Before you can complete this activity, you must:

Complete Tutorial 1.
Complete all steps in Get started for administrators.

Steps

Access the hub administration.
1. Option 1: In the top-right corner of the Fusion web client, click your profile and select Admin.
2. Option 2: In the top-right corner of the Fusion Manage Extension site, click your profile and select Admin.
Explore an existing group, for example the Everyone (System Group) is there by default and automatically contains everyone in the hub.
1. Click the Members and Groups tab.
2. In the top-left corner of this tab, click the drop-down list and select Groups.
  
  This view option shows a list of all existing groups in the hub. If this is a new hub, you'll notice the groups that are there by default.
3. Click an existing group.
4. View the group details, workspace access, and members that belong to this group.
5. Click close.
Explore the existing user list.

Note: If this is a new hub and you have not yet invited your team yet, you can complete this step using yourself.
1. In the top-left corner of this tab, click the dropdown list and select Members.
  
  This view option shows a list of all existing members in the hub.
2. Click an existing member.
3. View the member details, hub access, and member groups section.
4. Click close.
Filter members by status.
1. In the top-right corner of this tab, click Filter.
2. From the member status list, select Active. This shows a filtered list of all active members in the hub.
3. Clear the filter, then select Pending from the member status list. This shows a filtered list of all members who have not yet accepted their invitation to join the hub.
