Activity 1: Explore the bill of materials in the Fusion desktop client

In this activity, you'll open and configure the bill of materials table. You'll then explore the different functionality available to you, including the filters, sharing, exporting, and viewing a parts list.
Steps
Open the Wireless Speaker in the Fusion desktop client.
Open the bill of materials.
Option 1: From the Manage tab, click BOM > Bill of Materials.
Option 2: From the Solid tab, click Assemble > Bill of Materials.
Configure the columns to include the Notes columns.
In the top-right corner, click the Column Settings icon.
Click to select the Notes columns and any others you want to include.
Note: Skip this step if these columns are already preselected.Click and drag the column headings into the order you want.
Your settings are saved automatically, and the BOM opens this way from now on until you change or reset it.
Show the released BOM.
In the top-left corner, click the BOM Switcher drop-down and select Released.
Show the parts list.
In the top-left corner, click the Layout Switcher drop-down and select Parts Only.
Share the BOM with a chosen structure.
In the top-right corner, click the Copy Link icon.
Export the released BOM.
In the top-right corner, click the Export BOM icon.

In this activity you opened the bill of materials and configured the layout. You explored the different filters, then exported and shared the BOM.
