Bitmap Save As Options reference

You can save a snapshot of the graphics window as an image file. The default creates an image the size of the active graphics view, but you can change X and Y values.

Access:

In the Save Copy As dialog box: Set the Save as type to *bmp, *.gif, *.jpg, *.png, or *.tiff. Click Options.

Pixels

Enter an integer value for X and Y.

• Set X and Y both to 0 to generate an image the same size as the on-screen image in the current active view.
• Set either X or Y to 0 (not both) to have the non-zero dimension value used as given and the zero dimension set to whatever value preserves the shape of the on-screen image
• Set both X and Y to non-zero values to center the field of view the same as the on-screen image, but the portion of the scene included in the view may be different. .

Only Show Active Components for In-Place Editing

This setting applies if you are in-place editing a part or subassembly in the main assembly. Enable this option to only show the active component in the image file. Disable to include the entire assembly in the image file.
