3ds Max Interactive
Scenes prepared with the Revit Live service can now be imported directly in 3ds Max Interactive's Project Manager. The new .lvsc file format replaces .lvmd, which is no longer supported.
Auto Exposure
Live can automatically detect and modify the scene's global illumination, brightening dark areas and reducing light in over-exposed ones. Active only when Graphic setting is set on Appearance.
Importing scenes
Select where to save working files when manually importing a scene.
Navigation
Fly Mode allows you to freely navigate through a scene as though you are flying, and you can go through walls and floors.
Publishing
Presentations are now published as complete applications; they no longer require a viewer. A compressed set of file and folders can be shared, and once the files are extracted, the Autodesk executable .exe file can be run.
Quality Settings
Live offers more control over your experience by adding Balance as an option in Graphic settings. This allows you to have better performance in lower-end systems without drastically compromising the scene's quality. Live also recommends an optimization setting based on your hardware.
Revit 2014
Revit 2014 is no longer supported.
Revit Live service
Preparation and launch times have been optimized, it will take you less time to prepare a model and launch a scene.
Points-of-Views
Select the 3ds views you want to include in the Live scene from Revit directly. Points-of-View can no longer be edited in Live.
Scene versions
Every instance of a prepared Revit model is a scene in Live. Scenes are no longer automatically overwritten.
Virtual Reality
- How to use the controllers has been simplified for a more coherent experience.
- Measure and Pointer tools allow you to measure distances and point when using virtual reality. There is also a new You are Here marker in the Minimap.
