Disconnect breaks the connection between your local copy of a model and the shared, cloud version. After you disconnect, you can no longer sync your changes to the shared copy. One reason to disconnect a model is to free it for publishing to another group.
- Open the model.
- Open Settings and Utilities.
- Click Disconnect.
- Click Yes in the dialog box.
- Disconnecting does not affect other design group users. They remain connected and can continue to sync.
- To collaborate using the model you disconnected, re-publish it. (If other group members are still using the online version, rename the model or publish it to a different server location.)
- To collaborate again using on the online version of the model you disconnected, download the online model to get the latest, synchronized version. (Save it to a different location on your server if you still have a copy of the disconnected version with the same name.)
You may also want to disconnect a local model if someone else deletes that model from a group. You get a message if you try to sync a model removed from the group.
