Exercise 1: Create the proposal

Sketch a new feature in an existing model.

Create a proposal to share with a group of stakeholders via the cloud.

Note: This tutorial assumes you have completed Tutorial 1 (at least exercises 1 and 2) so that you have a model to work with.

To create a proposal

1. Create a proposal.
   • Click .
   • Click Add New Proposal ().
   • Enter a name for the new proposal and click OK.
   • Close the Proposals Manager.
2. Draw the new road.
   • Double-click to zoom into the model.

     Zoom to an area for the new road. Use the right mouse button to pan to the right location.

   • Click
   • Select the Streets/Sidewalk And Greenspace style from the Draw Style catalog that appears then close the catalog.
   • Click to set the start and end points for the new road.
   • Press Enter or double-click to finish the road.
   • Press Escape to deselect the new road.
3. Redisplay the Proposals Manager and expand the Roads entry to view the new road information.
