Tutorial: Working with Autodesk InfraWorks 360 Scenarios

A tutorial for creating, publishing, and viewing online scenarios.

Use this tutorial to learn how to publish a designated area of a model or proposal to Autodesk InfraWorks 360 and make it available to a set of people.

Note: This tutorial assumes you have completed Tutorial 1 (at least exercises 1 and 2) so that you have a model to work with.

The scenario can include elements such as watermarks, Points of Interest, and storyboards.

When you publish the scenario, you can specify whether it is public or not. Scenarios that are not public are available to members of InfraWorks 360 groups only. Viewers must install the web browser add-in or iPad app and provide login credentials to view the scenario.

If the scenario is public, you invite specific individuals to view it—they do not have to be Autodesk InfraWorks 360 users. Those who have not viewed scenarios before are prompted to download a browser add-in (or install an iPad^® app) the first time they view a scenario. Viewers using iPads will need an Autodesk ID.
