During the installation of Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D®, you can choose to install additional content and products. You can also configure destination folders.
On the Install 
Configure Installation page, under Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014, click the Click to Open and Configure link to access the following options you can select to configure your installation.
Note: For general information about installation, see Installation Overview.
- Sub-Components: You can install additional subcomponents for AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Select Content: You can install one or more content packs.
- Configurable Folders: You can configure folders for certain data.
- Installation Type: You can select an installation type, either Typical to accept the default configuration settings, or Custom to review the settings and decide whether to modify them. For more information on the features available in the Custom install, see Features Available with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Service Packs: You can include service packs, if available.
In addition to AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014, you can also install an additional configurable application and tools and utilities.
Note: The ability to change product language using language packs (as documented in the Help topic Change Product Language) is not provided for AutoCAD Civil 3D. Each language version of AutoCAD Civil 3D is provided separately.
