You can uninstall Maya from a Windows OS via the Control Panel. If you wish to uninstall several products within a Suite or a Suite from a Windows OS, it is recommended that you use the Autodesk Uninstall Tool.
Depending on whether you want to uninstall the Maya product, several products within a Suite, or a Suite, choose the appropriate procedure.
To uninstall Maya and other products, or a Suite from a Windows OS, use the Autodesk Uninstall Tool.
To uninstall Maya from a Windows OS 7:
- Left-click the Windows Start button and choose Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, select to view the contents by Category if required.
- Under the Programs Category, click Uninstall a program.
- Select Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 and click Uninstall/Change.
- Follow the uninstallation instructions.
To uninstall Maya from a Windows OS 8:
- Left-click the Windows Start screen
All Apps Control Panel Programs. - Select Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 and click Uninstall/Change.
- Follow the uninstallation instructions.
To uninstall Maya from a Windows OS 7:
- Left-click the Windows Start screen All Apps Control Panel Programs.
- Select Autodesk 3ds Max 2014 and click Uninstall/Change.
- Follow the uninstallation instructions.
