Language Packs and Revit Deployments

If users need access to multilingual user interfaces in Revit, you can include one or more language packs in a Revit deployment. For background information, see Language Packs for Revit.

To prepare a language pack for inclusion in a deployment

  1. Download the desired language packs from www.autodesk.com/revit-languagepacks.
  2. Place the language packs in a location that is easily accessible on the computer where you will create the deployment.
  3. When creating the deployment, use the Include Additional Software option to specify the language pack.

    Example:

If Revit has already been installed on user systems, you can install language packs on target computers. To deploy language packs for multiple languages or multiple products, create a batch file to install a series of language packs on each computer.

If you want to use the same basic deployment for a set of users, but subsets of these users need different combinations of language packs, you can first create the basic deployment. Then modify the deployment (or use it as a template for a new deployment) to add the required language packs for each user subset. See Modify a Deployment.
