Split face or part dialog box

Access:

Ribbon: 3D Model tab Modify panel Split

Method

Selects a face or entire part to split.
Split Face	Selects one or more faces to split into two pieces.
Trim Solid	Selects part or body to split and discards one side.
Split Solid	Selects work plane or parting line used to split a solid body into two pieces.

Select

When Split Face method is active, selects all or specific faces to split.
Split Tool	Selects work plane, surface, or sketch to split a face or solid into two pieces.
Faces	When the Split Face method is active, selects faces to be split.
Solid	When the Trim Solid or Split Solid methods are active, selects solid body to be trimmed or split.

Faces

When Split Face method is active, selects all or specific faces to split.
All	Selects all faces to split. Click OK.
Selected	Selects faces to split. Click Faces, select faces to split, and then click OK.

Remove

When Trim Solid method is active, click Side to Remove to preview, and then click OK to remove specified side.
