Create Splice

Creates a virtual representation of the splice in the harness assembly.

Access:

Ribbon: Cable and Harness tab Create panel Create Splice

Select Location	Selects a location for the splice within the assembly.
RefDes	Sets an unique identifier that maps the splice to the schematic design. A RefDes is required for each splice.
Category	Selects the category in which the desired splice is located (optional). The last selection becomes the new default.
Name	Selects the name of the desired splice in the Cable & Harness Library. The last selection becomes the new default. If no name is selected, the Default Library Splice is used.
Properties	Displays the Library Splice dialog box for viewing, to help you select the needed library splice.
