Log files from tasks

Log files save the task processing information so you can understand how the task progressed.

Export errors from log file to Excel

The Task Scheduler log files track task errors. Then you can export the errors from the Task Scheduler .mdb file to an Excel file so that they are easier to discover and understand.

The Excel file generates a separate sheet for each error type. The first column of each sheet lists the error files. The second column lists the corresponding task names.
