When significant changes have been made to a drawing, Global Update is the default choice.
You can trigger Update automatically or set an option to defer updates while you continue to work.
To manually apply edits to a drawing:
- On the Quick Access toolbar, click the arrow beside Update.
- Select the appropriate option:
Click Update to regenerate only the active sheet.
Click Update All Sheets to update all sheets with changes. Or, select the sheet in the browser and click Update to update this sheet.
The Update command dims to show the file is fully up-to-date.
