Mesh View overlays the mesh, built according to the mesh settings, on the model geometry. You are then able to see the mesh in relation to the geometric features of the model. You can also use Mesh View to overlay the mesh on top of the simulation results. In this way you are able to see where the stress concentrations are in relation to the mesh elements. Then, if needed, you can use the mesh settings to refine the mesh.
The mesh count, nodes, and elements display in the corner of the graphic display.
Preview the mesh:
- On the ribbon, click
Stress Analysis tab
Mesh panel
Mesh View
. Alternatively, right-click the Mesh browser node and click Mesh View. - The Mesh progress dialog box displays. Errors are reported in the More section of the dialog box.
