Edit hole table format and options
- Right-click a hole table in the drawing and select Edit Hole Table to display the Edit Hole Table dialog box.
- On the Format tab, change the table title, formatting, and text styles.
- Right-click a Property name, and choose Format Column to display the Format Column dialog box. Then edit the column properties including column name, text alignment, measurement units, and format of values.
- Click Column Chooser to add or remove columns from the hole table. Then in the Hole Table Column Chooser dialog box:
- On the Options tab of the Edit Hole Table dialog box, change row merge options, hole tag options, and specify included features and hole types.
- Click OK to close the Edit Hole Table dialog box.
Add holes to a hole table
- Right-click the hole table, and then select RowAdd Hole from the menu.
- Click the holes in the drawing view to highlight them.
Note: The holes must be in the view associated with the table.
- After selecting the holes, right-click, and then select Create. The holes are added to the end of the table.
Remove a hole from a hole table
- Right-click the hole table row to delete.
- Select RowDelete hole from the menu.
When you remove a hole from the table, the associated
hole tag
is removed from the drawing view.
Add extruded cuts to a hole table
- Right-click a hole table in the drawing and select Edit Hole Table to display the Edit Hole Table dialog box.
- On the Options tab, in the View Filters box, select Center Marks in Included Features.
- Click Apply. The extruded cut is automatically tagged with a hole note and added to the table.
Tip: You can include center marks in your Hole Table style definition.
Edit a hole note and description
- In the graphics window, right-click a row in the hole table, and then select EditEdit Hole Note.
- In the Edit Hole Note dialog box, modify the values and symbols of the hole note and set other needed options.
- Click OK to update the hole note.
- In the graphics window, right-click the row in the hole table, and then select EditEdit Description Text.
- In the Format Text dialog box, modify the text and its options.
- Click OK to update the descriptive text in the hole table row.
Change precision of hole XY location
- In the graphics window, right-click a XDIM or YDIM cell in the hole table, and then select Precision.
- Select a precision from the list. The table updates with the new value.
- Continue to update precision as needed.
Match custom holes
You can specify that two or more custom holes (designated with center marks) are the same. Use one:
- Right-click the primary custom hole tag and select Match Custom Hole. Select any hole tag in the same view that is associated with a center mark. Right-click and select Continue to match the hole descriptions or select Done to cancel the command.
- Select multiple hole tags. Right-click and select Match Custom Hole. All selected hole tags match the first-selected hole tag.
Split a hole table
You can split a hole table into two sections. After creating the sections, you can move each section independently of the other.
- In the graphics window, right-click the row where the table is to split.
- Select TableSplit from the menu. The sections of the split table are placed in vertical alignment.
Export a hole table
You can export hole table data to a standard ASCII text file (.txt), or to a Microsoft Excel file (.csv).
- In the graphics window, click to select the hole table.
- Right-click the row and select TableExport from the menu.
- In the Export Hole Table As dialog box, select the file type and specify the path and file name.
