Manage saved analyses

Activate saved analysis

  1. Open a part file that contains a saved analysis, or double-click a part in an assembly that contains a saved analysis.
  2. In the Model browser, expand the Analysis folder.
  3. Right-click the analysis to make active, and then select Activate from the context menu.
    Note: Double-clicking a saved analysis selects it as the active analysis and makes it visible.

View saved analysis

  1. Open a part file that contains a saved analysis, or double-click a part in an assembly that contains a saved analysis.
  2. On the ribbon, click View tab Visibility panel Analysis .

Open and edit saved analysis

  1. Open a part file that contains a saved analysis, or double-click a part in an assembly that contains a saved analysis.
  2. In the Model browser, expand the Analysis folder.
  3. Select the analysis to edit:
    • In the Model browser, double-click the analysis to edit the active analysis.
    • Right-click the analysis, and then select Edit from the context menu to edit a non-active analysis with visibility turned off.
  4. In the dialog box, change the settings as needed.
  5. Click OK, or Apply to save.
Note: Double-clicking a saved analysis that is active and visible displays the setup dialog box for editing.

Copy saved analysis

When a saved analysis is copied, it is automatically named and placed in the browser under the original.

  1. Open a part file that contains a saved analysis, or double-click a part in an assembly that contains a saved analysis.
  2. In the Model browser, expand the Analysis folder.
  3. Right-click the analysis to copy, and then select Copy from the context menu.

Delete saved analysis

When an active and visible analysis is deleted, it is removed from the browser and the graphics window.

  1. Open a part file that contains a saved analysis, or double-click a part in an assembly that contains a saved analysis.
  2. In the Model browser, expand the Analysis folder.
  3. Right-click the analysis to remove, and then select Delete from the context menu.
  4. If the selected analysis is active, another analysis becomes active. If all saved analyses are deleted, the Analysis folder is removed from the browser.

Rename saved analysis

  1. Open a part file that contains a saved analysis, or double-click a part in an assembly that contains a saved analysis.
  2. In the Model browser, expand the Analysis folder.
  3. In the browser, slow double-click the analysis name, and then change the text as needed.
