Constrain curve to be horizontal

The horizontal constraint causes lines, ellipse axes, or pairs of points to lie parallel to the X axis of the sketch coordinate system.

  1. On the ribbon, click Sketch tab Constrain panel Horizontal Constraint .
  2. Click a line, an ellipse axis, or two points.
  3. Continue to click lines, ellipse axes, or pairs of points as desired.
  4. Continue to place horizontal constraints, or do one of the following to quit:
    • Right-click, and select Done.
    • Press Esc.
    • Select another command.
