When you start a simulation the Simulate dialog box displays a progress bar. In the More section, process warnings are posted. These warnings help you resolve suggested process steps before you begin the simulation.
To run batch simulations, simply select multiple simulations in the browser, and click Simulate. The status is reported in the More section of the dialog box and is aggregated. The results are reported per simulation for easy comparison.

Ribbon: Stress Analysis tab Solve panel Simulate |
Model | Displays the model and simulation name. |
(Number) | Displays the number of simulations to run. |
Configuration list | Specifies the configurations to solve for the parametric geometry. |
Exhaustive set of configurations solves all combinations of the parameters.
Smart set of configurations solves the base configuration and each parameter change to the base, then interpolates the other results.
Current configurations only solves the current configuration as a single -point simulation.
(Ready) | This message notifies you that the simulation is ready to run. |
(Progress Bar) | Displays the progress of the current running simulation. |
Expands the dialog box to display process warnings. For example, if you have not yet evaluated contacts or previewed the mesh, steps which are recommended before proceeding with the simulation.
Run | Runs the simulation. |
Cancel |
If the simulation is not running, cancels command and dismisses the dialog box. If a simulation is running, this command pauses the simulation and displays a confirmation dialog box. You confirm whether you want to cancel the simulation. If you select Yes, the simulation is halted and the dialog box dismissed. Selecting No causes the simulation to resume. |
