The
vertical constraint
causes lines, ellipse axes, or pairs of points to lie parallel to the Y axis of the coordinate system.
- On the ribbon, click
Sketch tab
Constrain panel
Vertical Constraint
.
- Click a line, an ellipse axis, or two points.
- Continue to place vertical constraints, or do one of the following to quit:
- Right-click, and select Done.
- Press Esc.
- Select another command.
Note: To make several lines or axes vertical, select them, and then click Vertical Constraint.
