Unfold rolled sheet metal features

When the folded sheet metal model contains no flat face, use the Unfold command to unfold one or more sheet metal rolls relative to a temporary plane displayed at either end of the rolled material. The Unfold command adds an Unfold feature to your sheet metal part browser. You can add other features to the flattened portion of the model. A Refold feature can then be added to refold all or some of the unfolded rolls.

On the ribbon, click Sheet Metal tab Modify panel Unfold . Click either of the temporary planes displayed at either end to be used as the unfold reference. Click individual highlighted rolls to be unfolded. Optionally, use Add All Bends to select all the geometry highlighted. Preview the flattened state and add or delete rolls to obtain the desired flat. Optionally, select unconsumed sketches that you would also like to unfold. Click OK.
