Automatically places multiple pins with the specified naming, configuration, and orientation on a part.

While a connector part is open (or in edit context), click 3D Model tab Harness panel Pin Group |
Start Location |
Selects the location for the first pin in the group. |
Grouping |
Sets the number and orientation of pins and rows. Pins Per Row sets the number of pins in each row. Pin Pitch sets the spacing between pins. Direction selects a linear edge to align the pins. Click Flip to reverse the direction in which to create the pins. Rows sets the number of rows for the pin group. Row Pitch sets spacing between rows. Direction selects a linear edge to align the pins. Click Flip to reverse the direction in which to create the rows. |
Naming |
Sets the naming and configuration of the pins in the group. Prefix Letter sets a single-character letter as the prefix for the pin names. Start Number sets the first number to use for the pin group. Sequential Row sets pin group number to increase pin numbers sequentially by row. Refer to the preview for an example. Sequential Column sets the pin group number to increase pin numbers sequentially by column. Refer to the preview for an example. Circumventing (available only if there are two rows). Sets the pin numbers to increase from left to right on the first row and right to left on the second. Refer to the preview for an example. Preview changes to reflect the current pin configuration. |
