On the Report Generator toolbar, click Edit Configuration File |
, select the .cfg file to edit, and then click the Format tab.|
Multiple files |
Determines whether to generate multiple report files and how to handle them. Use multiple files enables a single report to output multiple files. Clear the check box to output a single report file. Create new file for every specifies a property to use as the naming convention for the reports when Use multiple files is enabled. Valid properties appear as a column in the Table tab in the Name row. When the property is set to RefDes, and splices and parts are selected on the Filter tab, the report includes both objects. Use this information to create connector tables for all parts and splices in the harness assembly. Select the appropriate object filter to create separate connector tables. |

Sort by column |
Specifies, in descending order of importance, the columns used to sort report data. Valid column numbers are dependent on the columns that appear on the Table tab. Enter at least one column number. |

Placeholder |
Sets whether to use a placeholder for repeated names. The placeholder is always used for blank values. Use for repeated names specifies to use a placeholder value in a multiline report when the same value is used consecutively in a single column. Value specifies the text or character string to use as a placeholder for blank or repeated values in the report. |

Print filter information |
Writes the options selected in the Filter tab to the report. |

Print header |
Writes the name of the .cfg file and the directory information to the report. |

Print information |
Writes the text in the Info tab to the report. |

Print column headers |
Includes the column headers defined on the Table tab in the report. |
