Create Another 3D Equation Curve

To complete the model, you create another 3D equation curve. This curve is used as the guide rail in a sweep feature.

1. Create a 3D sketch.
2. Start the Equation Curve command.
3. Verify that the coordinate system is set to Cylindrical.
4. Enter the following values:
   • r(t): t
   • θ(t): 1800 * t + 800
   • z(t): t^2
   • tmin: 0.5
   • tmax: 1.7
   
5. Finish the sketch.
