Setting default sprue properties

There are two ways to affect the sprue type, shape and size. This topic describes how you can set defaults for these properties before you create the sprue.

You can also change the properties of existing sprues.

1. Click (Geometry tab > Properties panel > Defaults > Sprue Properties).

   The Sprue properties dialog appears.

2. In the Sprue type drop-down list, select the desired sprue type.
3. In the Sprue shape drop-down list, select the desired sprue shape.
   Note: Information about each sprue is displayed in the Description section, as they are selected.
4. Enter a value for each sprue attribute corresponding to the sprue shape you selected.
5. Click OK to save and close the dialog.
