Select results to export

Learn how to mark results for export to Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Communicator.

You can export results from one or two studies in a single project, which enables your team to view different analyses from a single design iteration, or compare results from two iterations of the design process by using Autodesk Simulation Moldflow Communicator.

Note: You can export results from one or two studies. Each study may contain several results folders. You can export a maximum of eight results from each results folder.

In each of the two studies, you must mark each result that you want to export.

1. Select cellphone_study in the Project View pane.
2. Right-click on each of the following results, and select Mark for export.
   • Fill time
   • Pressure at end of fill
   • Pressure drop
   • Air traps
   • Weld lines
   • Time to reach ejection temperature
   • Volumetric shrinkage at ejection
   An asterisk is displayed next to the results in the Study Tasks pane.
3. Select cellphone_study_2 in the Project View pane.
4. Mark the same results for export, listed above.

Note: The Results Summary is marked for export, by default, as indicated by the asterisk. The Summary includes all the information for all analyses that have been run.
