New Crystallization analysis result displays final average crystal size distribution

The new 'Crystallization: Final average crystal size' result displays the distribution of the average crystal size through the part thickness, at a single time instant, after the ejected part has cooled to the ambient temperature.

The average crystal size in an injection molding application tends to be smaller at the skin and larger at the core. Crystal size influences the predicted mechanical properties.

The 'Crystallization: Final average crystal size' result is calculated for each element, and is available for display after completion of a Fill or Fill+Pack analysis. To show this result the Crystallization analysis (requires material data) option must be enabled in the Process Settings Wizard.
Note: The option to perform Crystallization analysis is available for analyses of the Thermoplastics Injection Molding process using Midplane and Dual Domain analysis technologies.
