On the Model tab of the Building Site Export dialog, review the elements to be exported by expanding the nodes in the tree structure. Use (Highlight) and (Isolate) to highlight or isolate a category of elements or a specific instance of an element in the preview pane.
- Building footprint. Displays the gross building plan to be exported. If there is more than one area plan, the plan for the lowest level is used, by default.
To change the area plan to be exported, under Footprint To Export, select the desired area plan from the Gross Building Plan list.
- Building Model. Displays count and instance information for doors, windows, and roofs. All other categories and their instances are grouped under Others.
To reduce the number of instances, reduce the number of elements in the model. See Simplifying the Model.
- Property Lines. Indicates whether the site has a property line and if there is an offset. The element ID of the property line to be exported is displayed, if applicable.
To change the property line to be exported, select a different one in the list under Property Line To Export.
The offset specifies how far the property line is above or below the level on which the property line is drawn. To change the offset to be exported, enter a new value for Offset.
See Property Lines.
- Site Model. Displays the number of elements that comprise the building site from categories, such as site, roads, pads, parking, and topography, as well as ramps, stairs, and floors that have the Function type parameter set to Exterior.
- Utilities. Displays the utilities with connectors that have Utility parameters set for exporting. The Utility parameter for the connector is found on the Properties palette under Identity Data.
